Detoxification
Detoxification is a controlled process that safely and systematically withdraws people from addicting drugs, under the care of our highly experienced medical team led by Dr. Raphael Penunuri. Alcohol and drug use can, over time, result in a powerful physical dependence upon these substances, and stopping can cause uncomfortable and potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms in people with this dependence.
The Detoxification Process is designed to treat the immediate physical symptoms of withdrawal, and to remove the toxins left in the body caused by chemical dependence and addiction.
Detoxification can be done on both an outpatient basis or inpatient treatment. Inpatient Treatment allows the treatment team to closely monitor the client, preventing access to the substance of abuse and treating the symptoms around the clock, and can speed up the process. Outpatient Detoxification can have the advantage of being less disruptive to the client's life and may be effective if medically advisable. The choice of treatment setting for Detoxification involves many factors, including, but hardly limited to, the substance or substances of abuse, length and history of abuse and amounts used, as well as the client's age, social conditions, and medical and/or psychological issues which may exist with the client.
If you or a loved one are worried about the process of Detoxification, please contact Elite Care today for a confidential and comprehensive consultation
Residential Program
Our residential treatment center has been in existence for over 46 years and is located in beautiful Costa Mesa, CA, just minutes from the beach. The Elite Care Team has enhanced the already existing program through an evidence-based treatment approach that focuses on all aspects of addiction recovery- the mental, the physical, and the spiritual.
We focus on client outcomes, attaining durable recovery through a multimodal approach attacking addiction from all sides. Informed by the latest scientific research, drug rehab treatment at our inpatient center delves under the surface into the complex issues that contribute to addictive patterns. We are equipped to treat dual diagnosis patients in full capacity and utilize only licensed therapists, medical doctors, and PhD level psychologists to administer treatment. Many people who struggle with addiction also suffer from depression, anxiety, sex and intimacy issues, bi-polar and other disorders. Our treatment addresses everything that stands between our clients and lifelong recovery.
We offer semi-private as well as private rooms and our treatment schedule varies according to each client’s needs. We do not prescribe to a one-size-fits-all approach as our treatment team develops a personalized treatment plan for each client and offers full support through the initial detoxification phase all the way to the development of a sober identity. We emphasize sustainability and durable recovery and are prepared to handle and address all obstacles in this goal.
